THE Ghost Hunters International team ventures to Costa Rica and investigate the San Lucas Penitentiary, an abandoned 19th Century prison known as "The Alcatraz" of Central America. This one-time penitentiary was synonymous with cruelly and isolation and was used for over 100 years as a labor camp for young prisoners. The Costa Rican government will make the island accessible to tourists for the first time, but with wild monkeys, boa constrictors, spiders and even crocodiles inhabiting the island, it wants to know if there is something supernatural lurking on the grounds as well. San Lucas Prison airs Wednesday, February 10th @ 9:00 p.m. EST/PST on The Syfy Channel.
