Ghost Hunters kicked off its seventh season with a first for the series: the team received a call from the community of Alexandria, LA, who are experiencing paranormal activity all over their city.
Now, Syfy is asking fans to help find the most haunted town in America with the kickoff of America’s Hometown Ghost Hunt contest! Now through March 30st, 2011, viewers will be able to submit their hometowns for consideration on syfy.com/ghosthunters. In August, Syfy will reveal three finalists; fans will get to vote to ultimately choose the top locale. The Ghost Hunters crew will investigate the winning town in a future episode.

Every Wednesday night I just have to watch Ghost Hunters. I happen to be a big fan of the entire SyFy lineup, all except the wrestling. If you are subscribing to cable to watch great shows on the SyFy network, I have some great news for you. You can get all of your favorite shows in HD for less money than you are paying cable by switching to DISH Network. As a DISH Network customer and employee I switched from cable TV to DISH, and have never been happier with my pay TV service.
