Nick Jonas (Kingdom) has been cast in a recurring role in Scream Queens, a new comedy-horror anthology series from Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan and Dante Di Loreto, the executive producers of Glee and American Horror Story.
Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween), Emma Roberts (American Horror Story: Freak Show), Joe Manganiello (True Blood, Magic Mike XXL), Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award nominee Lea Michele (Glee), Academy Award nominee Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine, Zombieland, August: Osage County) and Keke Palmer (Akeela and the Bee, Masters of Sex) were previously announced in starring roles in the limited series. Additionally, Grammy Award nominee and actress Ariana Grande will guest-star in a recurring role.
The first installment in the new anthology series revolves around a college campus which is rocked by a series of murders. Production is scheduled to begin in the spring, with the series premiering in Fall 2015 on FOX.
After achieving worldwide fame with the Jonas Brothers, Island Records artist Nick Jonas released his self-titled solo debut in November 2014. The album spawned the double-Platinum smash single and No. 1 U.S. radio hit, “Jealous,” as well as the new single, “Chains.” On television, Jonas stars in Kingdom, a mixed-martial arts family drama that premiered last fall and was recently renewed for two additional seasons. In support of his album, he will be joining Iggy Azalea on her upcoming “Great Escape” tour in Spring 2015.
Scream Queens is produced by 20th Century Fox Television in association Ryan Murphy Television. The series is co-created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan. Murphy, Falchuk, Brennan and Dante Di Loreto will serve as executive producers.

STARZ has released the first minute of the highly anticipated second half of the season of Outlander, returning Saturday, April 4th @ 9:00 p.m. EST/PST. The opening scene reveals that the new episode will come from Jamie’s (Sam Heughan) perspective where previously viewers only saw the story from Claire’s (Caitriona Balfe) point of view. Find out Jamie’s side of the story when Claire disappeared in the final episode before the mid-season break. Sir Patrick Stewart to star in "Blunt Talk."
From Executive Producer Seth MacFarlane (Family Guy, Ted, A Million Ways to Die in the West) and series creator and executive producer Jonathan Ames (Bored to Death) comes Blunt Talk, a live action character-driven comedy set in the competitive cable news arena and following a most eccentric TV personality and his crew.
Patrick Stewart (X-Men franchise, Ted) stars as Walter Blunt, a British import intent on conquering the world of American cable news. Through the platform of his nightly interview show, Blunt is on a mission to impart his wisdom and guidance on how Americans should live, think and behave. Besieged by network bosses, a dysfunctional news staff, numerous ex-wives and children of all ages, Blunt’s only support is the alcoholic manservant he transplanted from the U.K. to join him in Los Angeles. The series follows the fallout from Blunt’s well-intentioned, but mostly misguided decision-making, both on and off the air.

Featuring rapidly rising star Jamie Dornan (Fifty Shades of Grey, The Fall), the new four-part British period drama New Worlds makes its U.S. debut on Acorn TV beginning February 16, 2015. Set in the 1680s, New Worlds is a powerful drama and surprising love story that depicts the terror and turbulence experienced in both England and America at the time of the English Civil War. New episodes will air on consecutive Mondays through March 9, 2015 on Acorn TV, the premier British TV streaming service in North America from RLJ Entertainment.
Unlike his roles as Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey (Feb. 13) and a serial killer in The Fall opposite Gillian Anderson (Jan. 16), Jamie Dornan plays a heroic idealist and outlaw in New Worlds. The Irish actor made his feature debut in Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette, and played Sheriff Graham/The Huntsman in ABC's Once Upon a Time. Also starring in New Worlds is Joe Dempsie (Game of Thrones), Freya Mavor (Sunshine on Leith, Skins), Alice Englert (Beautiful Creatures), Eve Best (Nurse Jackie), and Jeremy Northam (Tudors, Gosford Park) as King Charles II.
Set in the turbulent aftermath of the English Civil War, King Charles II’s tyrannical rule has led to a climate of violence and fear in England and the American colonies. Amid the chaos, four young, courageous idealists fall in love as they commit to forging a fairer future with blood, passion and urgency. But to achieve this, they must be prepared to pay the ultimate price.
