Actors Nazanin Boniadi, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, and Lloyd Owen gathered in Los Angeles for a FYC (For Your Consideration) screening of the season finale of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. They participated in a Q&A moderated by Rebecca Ford, Senior Awards Correspondent at Vanity Fair to discuss the first season. The panel allowed the cast members to touch on the filmmaking process and being on set in New Zealand which forged a close bond between the cast. They discussed the overwhelmingly positive response to the show thus far and walked the audience through their characters’ backgrounds and storylines from Season 1, explaining their approach as actors. The group also shared behind-the-scenes moments and how they all worked together on this massive production. Following the conversation, the trio of actors headed to the post-reception to mingle with the event attendees, elaborating further on their experience making the first season of this groundbreaking series.
