From Eagle Eye Drama (The Couple Next Door, Professor T), first look images have been released for the second series of Suspect, an eight-part drama which is coming to Channel 4 in the UK this Summer to stream and watch live and to BritBox International in the US and Canada in the Fall.

The second season picks up where the first left off, with Dr Susannah Newman (Anne-Marie Duff; Bad Sisters, The Salisbury Poisonings) on a quest to find the truth about her daughter’s tragic death. When a mysterious new client Jon Fallow (Dominic Cooper; Preacher, Mamma Mia!) makes a disturbing confession under hypnosis, Susannah is forced to embark on her own deadly mission to save a life, the way she couldn’t do with her own daughter…

The second series of Suspect will be directed by Carolina Giammetta (Before We Die, Hollington Drive) and has been written by Joy Wilkinson (Eps 1-5) and David Allison (Eps 6-8). Fremantle handle global sales for the series

Suspect is adapted from the Danish original Forhøret (Face to Face) created by Christoffer Boe and written by Christoffer Boe and Anna Juul. The original series was produced by Miso Film, a Fremantle company, and executive produced by Christoffer Boe, Jonas Allen and Peter Bose who also serve as Executive Producers on Suspect.
