Legend Of The Seeker Panel At Comic Con 2009

Shot with the exotic and rugged New Zealand landscape as its backdrop, the weekly series has resumed production on 22 all-new action-packed episodes. Combining elements of fantasy, adventure, magic, mystery and romance with state of the art visual effects and a high level of action, Legend of the Seeker is an adaptation of internationally best-selling author Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth book series. The executive producers also announced that actress Tabrett Bethell (Mei Li Johnson) will join the cast as a series regular. Bethell reprises her role as Cara, a Mord'Sith that will create tenson between Richard and Kahlan. Additionally, actress Charisma Carpenter, best known for her starring role as Cordelia on the long-running hit series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, will guest-star in the season premiere as a wicked Mord'Sith named Triana. With Kahlan (Bridget Regan, Sex and the City and The Best and the Brightest), a woman with magical powers of her own, and a wise old wizard named Zedd (Bruce Spence, Mad Max 2 and The Matrix Revolutions) by his side, Richard fights to protect innocent lives by confronting dangerous and evil forces. In the upcoming second season, Richard, Kahlan and Zedd will encounter an array of rich and compelling new characters, both good and evil, and they will be tested in ways that they never could have imagined. The trio will discover that in defeating the bloodthirsty tyrant Darken Rahl, their victory is short-lived as they inadvertently unleashed an even greater evil on the world. Heroes ' Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia To Attend Comic Con 2009

Following up the July 13th posting on this blog about the Heroes' presence at this year's Comic Con, it was just announced a few minutes ago that Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia will now join series creator/executive producer Tim Kring and some of their fellow castmembers at the event.

NBC ' s Hit Drama Series Heroes Exclusive At Comic Con 2009

COMIC Con International 2009 fans will be the first to watch an exclusive trailer for Heroes Season 4, titled Volume Five: Redemption, created just for the annual event in San Diego. Following the trailer, creator Tim Kring and cast members Jack Coleman, Masi Oka, Adrian Pasdar and Zachary Quinto, as well as guest-stars Robert Knepper, Dawn Olivieri, Ray Park and Madeline Zima, will participate in a Q & A session. WHEN - Saturday, July 25th @ 3: 15 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. PST. WHERE - Indigo Room @ Hilton San Diego Bayfront ( 1 Park Blvd, San Diego, CA) Heroes - Season 4 will debut with a two-hour premiere on Monday, September 21st from 8 p.m. - 10 p.m. Following the premiere, the series will air on Mondays at 8 p.m.

Veteran Sci-Fi Director David Winning Signing At Comic Con 2009

He was the 2002 recipient of the Director's Guild National Award for Excellence in Television Drama, and was nominated again in 2006. Winning also spent four months in Hungary shooting the ABC Family series Dinotopia, which is now out on DVD. Most recently, he directed Kevin Sorbo, Robert Englund and Bruce Dern in a trilogy of monster movies for the Syfy Channel and Hallmark Entertainment, as well as episodes of the Lifetime Television vampire-themed series Blood Ties.
