IN the season finale of Destination Truth, Josh Gates and his crew head down to Easter Island to conduct the world's most remote paranormal investigation. However, before their investigation even begins, the team must go on a journey to be accepted by the island's spirits. If successful, they will gain access to the 800 scattered throughout the island. Eerie shadows and voices give Josh and company pause, as they will be tested by the leaders of years gone by.
Next up for the team is a trip back to New Zealand to explore the claims of the return of the Moa. First considered extinct in the late 1500's, these massive birds are the largest flightless birds in history. Vicious and powerful, these large creatures have reportedly been spotted throughout southern New Zealand. Bones, feathers and large prints help them inch closer to a big re-discovery. It's not all serious business, though: Josh and Ryder wager a bet as to whether or not she can capture a sheep on the majestic foothills along the way. Spirits of Easter Island/The Moa airs Wednesday, April 21st @ 10:00 p.m. EST/PST on The Syfy Channel.
